Back to BABS

i took the kids to BABS, formally known as BUTT HILL. i was explaining to kavika why we so affectionately call her this, for the great butt work out you get when climbing her. he looked up at her and replies,"i thought it was for the big crack running down the middle." well, there you go, just how a typical male would respond. his father would be so proud.

.....and she's gonna get mar, air, air, eed

adam's apple popped the question
L Y F
little erin, not so little anymore is gonna be a bride. she is all glittered on her finger & so so so in love, and it reminds me of falling in love, saying yes and shopping for the THEE dress and walking down the aisle (grass lawn) and saying i do and just being so happy, so carefree, so not worried about babies, teenagers, school, bills, laundry, eternity. wow, it will be number 17 this june 20th and i am still in love with the same boy who just adores me and can't stop pawing me and he really loves me, even though i switched and baited on him and he will go to church with me and he just really loves me.
LOVE, love, LOVE, love, LOOOOOVVVVe
oh I can't hestitate, no more, no more, it can not wait,

happy birthday my sweet

early celebration with friends at keys on main. suggestion if you ever go, reserve a table, then you might actually sit down, unlike us who stood in the back for an hour and then left much to the relief of the the 50 people waiting outside in the cold. and, main street has a lot of bums on it, so bring your mace and your big strong man, like my sweet p, tall, muscled up, brave (hmmm?) and fearless (hmmm? again), but at least tall & muscled up. you know he can almost bench 300 pounds. it is a goal of his, because when you are working out, "you must have goals or what's the point." i have decided we are going to have a post birthday get together or maybe a pre mikki birthday party back on main and this time reserve the couches. sweet plan.

It's National Friendship Week

His name was Fleming, and he was a poor Scottish farmer. One day, while trying to make a living for his family, he heard a cry for help coming from a nearby bog. He dropped his tools and ran to the bog.
There, mired to his waist in black muck, was a terrified boy, screaming and struggling to free himself. Farmer Fleming saved the lad from what
could have been a slow and terrifying death.
The next day, a fancy carriage pulled up to the Scotsman's sparse surroundings. An elegantly dressed nobleman stepped out and introduced himself as the father of the boy Farmer Fleming had saved.
'I want to repay you,' said the nobleman. 'You saved my son's life.'
'No, I can't accept payment for what I did,' the Scottish farmer replied waving off the offer. At that moment, the farmer's own son came to the door of the family hovel.
'Is that your son?' the nobleman asked.
'Yes,' the farmer replied proudly..
'I'll make you a deal. Let me provide him with the level of education my own son will enjoy If the lad is anything like his father, he'll no doubt grow to be a man we both will be proud of.'
And that he did.
Farmer Fleming's son attended the very best schools and in time, graduated from St. Mary's Hospital Medical School in London, and went on to become known throughout the world as the noted Sir Alexander Fleming, the discoverer of Penicillin.
Years afterward, the same nobleman's son who was saved from the bog was stricken with pneumonia.
What saved his life this time? Penicillin.
The name of the nobleman? Lord Randolph Churchill .. His son's
name?
Sir Winston Churchill..
Someone once said: What goes around comes around.

IRISH FRIENDSHIP WISH

May there always be work for your hands to do;
May your purse always hold a coin or two;
May the sun always shine on y our windowpane;
May a rainbow be certain to follow each rain;
May the hand of a friend always be near you.

Sana sends me a Prayer

Monday, March 16th
May today there be peace within.

May you trust that you are exactly where you are meant to be.

May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith in yourself and others.

May you use the gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you.

May you be content with yourself just the way you are.
Let this knowledge settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love.
It is there for each and every one of us.'
