I do It for YOU!

Park City Stake Conference March 2012
Brother Tate gave this scripture reference ( 1 Nephi 19: 22-23)
with the reading challenge to read the Book of Mormon 3 times.
First time: Look for how God deals with his children.
Second time: Look for reference to the Atonement.
Third time: Liken the scriptures unto ourselves.
I am on my 6th day, May Day and I just read 2 Nephi 22.
Powerful Stuff.
Isaiah says what  will be said on that great Millennial Day

And in that day thou shalt say: O Lord, I will praise thee;  though thou wast angry with me thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedest me.  Behold, God is my salvation; i will trust, and not be afraid; for the Lord JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also has become my salvation.  Therefore, with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.  And in that day shall ye say:  Praise the Lord, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.  Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things; this is known in all the earth.  Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion; for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.

I am pretty sure I am not going to be around on that great day, but my hope is that one or many of my posterity will be.  I pray that I can be the mother that I am supposed to be for these children that He has entrusted me.  When they ask me why I make them do this or that and I am going to say,
"So on that day you or someone you love dearly will exclaim 2 Nephi 22"
AND
so we can live forever in heaven with God and Jesus.
I love the Lord, I love his words and I know that his hand is stretched out still and will be forever until he has gathered as many of God's children as he can.
